Ladders: Step ladders (6–8 ft) for interior work and extension ladders for exterior/high ceilings.

1. Step Ladders (Self-Supporting)

• Design: An "A-frame" folding structure that stands independently without leaning against a wall.

• Height: Typically range from 6 to 8 feet for interior room height access.

• Key Features: Features wide flat steps and a fold-out top tray designed to hold paint cans, brushes, tape, and cut-in pails safely.

2. Extension Ladders (Lean-To)

• Design: A two-part sliding frame system (base section and fly section) that extends upward using a rope and pulley mechanism with locking rungs.

• Height: Commonly range from 16 to 32 feet or higher for multi-story exterior walls and high vaulted ceilings.

• Key Features: Requires a wall or solid structure to lean against; equipped with adjustable swivel feet (ladder shoes) for stability on uneven ground.
